Acoustics of Seeds

SiuSiu, Taipei, March 2026

Created by French artist Nessim
with invited sound healer Ashley Tsai (Aishi), Acoustics of Seeds is a meditation on the beauty of plants, weaving scents, seeds, herbal teas, Chanoyu and music.

With dance and tea performance by Nessim

Held in the natural setting of 少少原始感覺研究室,
participants hold a seed mandala made of clay and seeds, listening, breathing, and moving with care—gradually returning to the body and reconnecting with the land before planting their seeds on the grounds of 少少 (SiuSiu).

Seeds act as a medium of life.
In a slow and attentive rhythm,
we realign with what is continuously becoming,
and return to a state held by the earth.

Path of Asahiyaki

Nuit Blanche Kyoto, 2025

[Path of Asahiyaki] was a work inspired by the workshop of the Asahiyaki kiln, using light, sounds and sculptures to channel the energies of the workshop into our practice of tea.

Under the throbbing light, oscillating to the sounds of the workshop of Asahiyaki,  Harry Lee World and I danced and made tea together, interweaving our arts with the local sounds of the Asahiyaki potter's workshop.

In parternship with French Insitute of Kansai, Kyoto, and the Nuit Blanche Kyoto festival

A Welcoming Sacredness

Maastricht Academy of Architecture, 2016-today

Every year since 2016, the Master of Interior Design of the Maastricht Academy of Architecture invites me for 3 days of performances, lectures and ceramic classes.
A Welcoming Sacredness is a performance inspired by the Japanese tea ceremony that advocates for an art that is focused on hospitality. Hospitality towards the guests, towards the moment, towards the self.
In a minimalist environment I have designed to welcome the students, I take them on a journey of quiet reflection and introspection.

On Three Desires

TESA Art Residency, Taiwan, 2025

Throughout my residency at TESA, I followed three desires : spontaneity/nature, dance/sensuality and grace/elegance

But I realized that all of these works were also about control and care.
When is love hurtful and manipulative?
When is it a true gift?
Even if in the mind of the giver, there are only good intentions, they might end up constricting the loved one.
