Intimate Berlin

Curation : Nessim Cohen
Invited Chef : Jessie Liu

July 18th 2025, somewhere in Prenzlauerberg

It was a warm night in Berlin. By the candlelight, 12 guests assembled for an unforgettable evening of fine dining, stories and performances. Chef Jessie Liu wanted a menu that felt like home but with the herbs endemic to Germany.

We chose nettle, because it is so common and seems dangerous at first sight, yarrow for its softness and mysterious healing properties and mugwort for its magic properties, said to bring lucid dreams.

Before desert was served, a brief moment of meditation was created through a Japanese tea ceremony that re-centered the guests on the present moment and the value of each herb they were enjoying.
